Greetings, Taernians!
Only two more months, final preparations, quick confirmations from friends and the event that the community of Taern has been waiting for the whole year, begins. Broken Ranks is more than just a game – it’s a space for emotions and experiences and those are best enjoyed with friends. The convention is a time when the game world leaves the screen and the relationships built over months or even years, move into the real world.
To quote our Master of Ceremonies, David, who as far back as 2013 said: “The convention is the cherry on top and the crème de la crème of this game. Another such cherry will take place on July 4th.” Since then, the event has scaled up a lot as far as the number of participants and the level of organization go, but one thing has remained the same - the first Saturday of July is your day! The day of Taernians. Come and join us!
Atmosphere That Makes the Difference
At TaernCon, it quickly becomes obvious that there’s no separation between the nick and the person. Most of the participants see each other for the first time, but the conversations flow as if they had started a long time ago.
Over the years, we have established Taernian commandments - an informal set of rules that define the convention:
- PvP stays on the servers – conflicts stay on the servers.
- Socializing is the name of the game – everyone is welcome.
- Take part in the activities – don’t be a passive observer.
- Be nice ;)

Cosplay Contest 🎭
One of the most spectacular activities. Creativity, planning, and execution are what matters. So start planning and preparing your costumes now, because we can’t wait to see them on stage!
It’s not about mirroring the game perfectly - the element of surprise and your own interpretation of the world of Taern are far more important.

Player Tournament ⚔️
A competition for those who want to prove their mettle in practice. It’s going to be intense! To qualify for the tournament, you’ll have to be the quickest to answer the question from the Master of Ceremonies. Those of you who don’t enter the fray will be able to watch the tournament on the screen and analyze the tactics of the Masters!
The top 3 will be awarded the following rewards:

🌟 Battle for the Viewers
The final item on the agenda - a special tournament featuring our content creators. It’s the symbolic end of the official part and one of the most intense moment of the whole convention. We hope you’ll be cheering them on loudly and proudly.
How to join TaernCon?
To take part in the event, you have to sign up with your nick, server, and the email address of your account. Minors should provide us with the details of their guardians and fill out the attached form which will be verified upon entry.
Registration is available here as previously announced. We suggest signing up as soon as you can as the number of spots may be limited.
The official part will begin at 4:40 PM but participants can show up as early as 3:20 PM to absorb the atmosphere, meet with old friends or make new ones!
At the event, there’ll also be food and various drinks - we hope that those from the Taernian menu will be especially to your liking 🍻
And After That… the Second Part of TaernCon
Once the official part ends, we would like to invite everyone to the less formal part. This is when TaernCon shows another side: unscripted conversations, dances and frolics, socializing no matter the level, and stories that will be passed on to the next generations throughout TaernCons.
During the unofficial part, we meet up in the Łącznik club to drink a pint of the finest be… nectar of undwindling might, have fun, and share strategies for defeating your favorite boss. The party will last until the break of dawn, when the first rooster crows, meaning 3 AM.
And remember! TaernCon is not just an event – it’s a foundation of our community and if you play Broken Ranks or Pride of Taern, you’ll show up here sooner or later 😍
