Greetings, Taernians!
In this update, we’re focusing mostly on issues related to the launch of the early access to the mobile version on the Polish market. We thoroughly examined the early game and made a lot of balance changes there. The most important change is the normalization of experience gained from various low-level instances. We want to shake up the meta so that the race to the top doesn’t mean running the same instance over and over again. We’re also increasing psychoexperience gains so that drif levels don’t lag behind character levels — they’ll be higher not only from instances but pxp will also be added as a reward for quests.
Although the mobile version and early game are the main focus, we have also made several other changes. Read the changelog to learn more details.
Changes and new features:
- Added helmet skins to celebrate the launch of the early access to the mobile version — Confederation (can be claimed in the Premium Store on the mobile version), Gentry, Sarmatian Blood, and Golden Liberty (can be purchased in the Premium Store). The skins will be available from March 3rd, 11:30 AM server time to March 10th, 12:00 PM server time.
- Added a new version of the prologue with modified tutorials.
- Changed some basic skills — removed Punch from the skill pool, combined Shot and Stone Throw into a single skill called Projectile Attack, removed the ability to level up basic skills (they will have only 1 level), changed the values of their effects. Basic skills will be reset for all players who leveled them up and the points will be refunded.
- Added a feature that automatically creates a support account and logs you in after clicking the support icon.
- Changed gear repair costs — repairing for gold will now cost 50% of the gear’s value (up from 40%) while repairing for gold and platinum will now cost 35% of the gear’s value (down from 37.6%) out of which 10% will be in gold (down from 13.6%) and 25% in platinum (up from 24%).
- Changed the display of messages over the player character — a maximum of four will be visible and messages with the same content will be grouped into one.
- Disabled messages about nearby fights and chests being opened.
- Limited the number of message tiles to a maximum of four and decreased their display duration if there are many of them.
- The Marketplace will now remember the currency in which the last item was listed. The clickable area was expanded.
- Many fixes to mapping across the whole game to allow players to walk on some flat elements and widen narrow passages.
- Added an alternative solution in the quest Uninvited Guests in the stage where players hunt for the heart of an elite — the stage will complete when an open-world elite is defeated but players will also be able to go to a nearby cave and defeat one in a private instance.
- Added the option to buy Reinforced Crampons without having Crampons — if players don’t have them in their backpacks, they’ll pay their value in gold.
- Fixed the models of Sheed, Archer, and Fire Mage to minimize the clipping of weapons with other gear elements.
- Disabled the colors of character names based on their sex — all names will now be green.
- Increased the spawn rate of Will-o'-the-Wisps in Beirn.
- Minor changes and UI fixes.
Balance:
- Increased psychoexperience gains in most Shadow and Darkness instances.
- Decreased experience gains in the Puppet Master instance, increased experience gains in most other Shadow instances except for Ichtion where it remains the same.
- Increased the droprate of rare gear in the Puppet Master, Geomorph, and Elemental Specters instances, decreased the droprate of rare gear in the Tower.
- Increased experience gains in the Under the Ice instances on the Paths of Adventure and Challenge, decreased experience gains in the Under the Ice instances on the Path of Discovery.
- Changed the droprate of synergetics and rare gear on the first three difficulty levels of the Trials of the Lodge — removed some ranks or moved them to higher levels, replaced some ranks with others, adjusted the droprate of synergetics. The goal of this change is to decrease the rate at which higher rank gear is dropped on new servers while also retaining the profitability of the Trials of the Lodge on old servers.
- Rebalanced quest rewards — increased experience gains by 10-20% in quests level 20+, added psychoexperience to quests level 15+, fixed incorrect rewards. Due to the addition of psychoexperience, changed the rewards for the quest Winged Lady from Dielectrics to Reols and Dviggs.
- Bridge Defense dynamic event — decreased experience and psychoexperience gains for stages, added the mechanism that increases the enemy spawn rate when there are many players taking part in the event.
- Wendigo dynamic event and instance:
- Extended the time the instance remains open — it will be available for most of the day. It will not be open only a moment before the start of the dynamic event and until it is opened by players, and also after the event if players don’t open it themselves.
- Changed the spawn rate of the event elite — it will spawn less frequently but throughout most of the day. It will not spawn during the event and also after a failed event.
- Increased the number of Wendigo Bait obtainable from the event elite from 3 to 5.
- Locked the instance for characters below level 60.
- Added an additional entry token to the Wendigo instance — Torch. Every day, players will be able to claim 25 from the Old Man by the well on the Plateau.
- Significantly decreased the droprate of Wendigo Corpse.

- Fixed a bug causing players not to get the payment for an item listed on the Marketplace if the character that had listed it was deleted.
- Minor fixes to graphics and mechanics.
- Optimization fixes.
