Today, you’re going to see a lot of new content, including the previously announced system of daily and weekly activities. Complete challenges to earn gold, experience, and other rewards!
Daily and weekly challenges are unlocked at level 20 and 30 respectively. In the side panel (the one where quests are shown) and in the quests window, you’ll see new tabs where you can track your progress. And what do you have to do to make the progress happen? Well, mostly just… play. ;) The challenges are about completing various activities. You can expect objectives such as defeating enemies, using abilities, or doing tasks.
What’s the difference between daily and weekly challenges apart from the time you have to complete them? Well, not only do they have a separate pool of rewards and objectives but they also work slightly differently.
With daily challenges, you’ll get four simple objectives. Whenever you complete one, you’ll get gold and, if you complete all of them, you’ll receive additional prizes in the form of gold, experience, and psychoexperience. Moreover, if you complete all the objectives, you’ll get even better prizes the next day, and still better ones on day three. You can accumulate this bonus for seven days - that’s when it reaches its maximum value. The bonus will be active until you miss a day.
Weekly challenges are a slightly different story. They are harder and not limited to four a day. You’ll keep getting new ones until you earn the maximum number of points for the week. Depending on its difficulty and type, each challenge provides a certain number of points. You can have a maximum of seven active weekly challenges at the same time: three related to boss instances, two to your class, and two general ones. Once a challenge is completed, it’ll be replaced with a different one of the same type. Rewards can be collected after reaching each of the three point thresholds - of course, the higher the threshold, the better the reward. The prizes include utility items and boss entries. Apart from that, at the very end you’ll be able to choose additional prizes. We’re sure that you’ll especially like unique, temporary buffs, e.g. an additional action point or the ability to rest anywhere you like.
