New skin set
The carnival has ended, but with Broken Ranks you can feel its spirit for longer. How? On March 6th, we’ll add a completely new skin set to the Premium Store so that you can feel like a true Taernian from the old days. Equip this one of a kind attire which was once an almost mandatory outfit during the Larkas festival. Hurry up, because the offer is valid only until April 4th!
Before the Utorian invasion, Larkas housed a famous martial academy. Every year, its graduates celebrated the end of their training with a parade that symbolically broke with the military drill by the participants adorning armor with feathers and other decorations. Over time, this custom became part of the city carnival and the garments became recognizable in all of Taern.
Wreaker of Havoc
When the carnival atmosphere dies down, the Wreaker of Havoc will once again appear on the servers. Why? To soak the earth with the blood of bosses, pile up hundreds of corpses, and make you all go berserk… In other words - he’s here so you can have some fun. ;)
*The event will show up as a quest called “I Came In Like a Wreaking Ball”
The motto of the Wreaker is “Faster, better, cheaper!” - at least as far as slaying monsters goes. He’ll come to help you in your everyday struggles or preparations for boss fights. He’ll offer cheaper entry items, talk to some of his friends so that they give you more tasks in a row, and also place bait for monsters.
What can you expect?
- Some tasks for instance entry items will not have a cooldown or will be easier to hand in.
- Free, cheaper, and/or refundable entry to some bosses.
- Three dynamic events in the Castle Grounds, Plateau, and Beirn.
- Bosses spawning in open maps.
- The ability to summon Vorlings using any combination of runes.
However, there’s a catch - the Wreaker wants the blood of monsters to flow like a river in front of him. That’s why some conditions apply when using his services. As soon as he shows up, talk to him to learn more details about the activities available. ;)
The Wreaker will arrive on the server on Friday, March 14th at 10 AM server time and will leave on Monday, March 17th at 10 AM. His offer now includes new items, so be sure to read the changelog so that the changes don’t surprise you. ;)
