
Our intel confirms a surge in monster activity during the following timeframes:
- July 25, 10:00 AM – July 28, 10:00 AM (CEST)
- August 22, 10:00 AM – August 25, 10:00 AM (CEST)
As in previous operations, monsters will emerge at night from their usual habitats, forming unconventional strike groups of varying strength. While on reconnaissance at The Rockburst bar, one of our agents intercepted a suspicious exchange:
– Ye clocked that daft-lookin’ lump by the wall? The one draggin’ a bloody portal like it’s a sheep on a rope?
– Aye, seen 'im. Word is he’s plannin’ some grand hunt. Somethin’ real messy.
– Wait now... that no the same fool what got flung outta the ring headfirst last time?
– That’s him right enough! Heard they took a right wallopin’ — so now they're tryna act clever. Changed their trade, so to speak.
– Changed their what?!
– Rebrandin’, lad. Now instead o’ crackin’ skulls themselves, they go ‘round tellin’ others who needs their face smashed in.
– Hah! I give it a week. They'll be back in the pit gettin’ their teeth kicked in like always. Folk like that never stay retired.
Following the lead, we tracked down one of these so-called Assassins and - using minimal force - extracted further details.
INTEL BRIEFING:
Monsters have adapted, hiding their loot deep inside their corpses. Assassins are willing to share the extraction technique, but only with operatives who accept an official contract.
Rewards include:
- Combat loot during each fight (tracks, synergetics, shards)
- Bonus payout (XP, psycho-XP, gold) upon task completion
Assassins are now authorized to operate officially (after paying their due taxes, of course).
DEPLOYMENT PLAN:
Initial Contact
Each citizen of Taern must first meet the assigned Assassin based on level:
- Trentis (Lv. 3–19, 20–39)
- Alaril (Lv. 40–65)
- Khold Forest (Lv. 66–89)
- Khold Mountains (Lv. 90–109)
- Garrison (Lv. 110–139)
- Beirn (Lv. 140+)
Portal Insertion
The Assassins opens a time-shifted portal - granting access to the night hunt 24/7.
Mission Acquisition
Within the night zone, locate the second Assassin and accept a hunting task.
Choose your target difficulty before starting - no going back once you commit.
Engagement & Reward Loop
Each combat encounter offers a chance at loot.
After completing the task (which includes 10 groups in the easy version or 5 in the hard one), report back for the bonus reward.

Tasks are final. Abandoning one still counts toward your total limit (15 max).
You may scout enemies before accepting a task - highly recommended.
Time limits have been waived, but the event ends when the Assassins withdraw.
Each player has two tasks tiers available (three at Lv. 140).
Choosing a lower tier is permitted if preferred.
TACTICAL ADVISORY:
Enemies in your assigned bracket may be too strong to solo. Squad up.
Hard-mode rewards are significantly higher — elite ops are encouraged to step up.
