You’ve asked us many times about a new server… And guess what? We have great news, truly exciting for many of you. We’ll soon be launching a new Polish server!
Originally, the new server was meant to start with the mobile version of Broken Ranks. But since the mobile version is coming along so quickly and it’s only been three years since the PC release, we decided to listen to your requests and not wait any longer ;). We know many of you have been waiting for this moment and are eager to return to Haligard with fellow Taern veterans. You’ve told us this in the game, on Discord, and even in person at TaernCon.
The new server will also help balance the player population. It will be a fresh, competitive place where everyone can make progress together from the very beginning. Even more so because, since Broken Ranks launched, we’ve added a lot of new features that will make starting on a new server feel like a whole new adventure!
We introduced daily and weekly quests, reworked equipment with drifs and orbs, and created two new areas (with bosses) for lower and mid-level players. There’s also a new challenge for top level players - Sidraga. We filled in all the missing content from Taern (Puppet Master, Valdarog, Castle Spectre, Aqua Regis), expanded the story with Act 3, and added many side quests. Not to mention the once-mythical marketplace or the v2 epics!
In short, you can expect:
- A completely new economy and market.
- Great competition and the chance for high rankings.
- New alliances, friendships, and connections.
- A fresh start,
and for many… a totally new world, plus features we’ve been adding regularly since the PC version launched!
Are you ready? Get prepared! The server goes live on March 22nd, 2025, at 12:00 CET.
What about Kadarin and Izin? Right now, their populations are doing well during peak times, around 600 people are logged in on each server. We do think the new server might pull some players away, though. If that happens and the player count drops a lot, we may consider merging.
There’s one more important thing: the name of the new server. That’s your mission, because on Monday (March 17th) at 1:00 PM CET, we will start a vote on Thanar, Kadarin, and Izin.
