You ask us quite frequently about the progress on the mobile version of the game. Well, we have good news for you!
Soon, we’ll begin another stage of the testing - the previously announced closed tests of the mobile version of Broken Ranks.
The game is at a very advanced stage of development and fit for testing on the production servers!
Thanks to the tests, we’ll check how a narrow group of players reacts to every element of the game.
What is the purpose of the upcoming tests?
Most of all, we want to confirm that the app works as intended and its reception conforms with our assumptions.
The upcoming closed tests will let us gather valuable feedback about general user experience and play comfort, as well as the performance and stability of the mobile app.
Thanks to the feedback, we’ll be able to develop an even more stable version of the game to be released in the future.
We will mostly focus on checking:
- the new launcher,
- the registration / login screens,
- the character creation process,
- the new main UI,
- the new combat UI,
- the new quest and dialogue UI,
- the improved memory and performance management,
- the stability of the game during longer sessions,
- the ergonomics of the UI during longer sessions.
When do we start?
The above mentioned tests will start on July 16th and will be divided into several testing sessions.

Only a narrow group of players will take part in the closed tests. Currently, we aren’t recruiting more testers, BUT… in the future, there’ll surely be plenty of opportunities to get involved in the development of the mobile version of Broken Ranks. ;) Be vigilant and follow our social media.
How to recognize a player who takes part in the closed tests of the mobile version of the game?
Look for characters with a distinctive icon over their heads.
Also, we want you to know what the progress on the mobile version of the game is, so after the tests are over, we’ll publish a short report on our website.
