Our secret service has delivered key intelligence on the upcoming events that will shake the foundations of Haligard in July and August. Prepare your weapons, gather a party, and familiarize yourselves with the operational details below. The battle against Andayan smugglers and a great monster hunt await!

Part I

Report on the Activities of Andayan Forces

The secret service reported that the Andayans will be smuggling mysterious stone statues (totems) to our lands. There are rumors that the transported objects hide a powerful weapon and untaxed goods of great value. The commanders request immediate action to eliminate the suspicious objects and neutralize the threat. During the event, our army will get free and unlimited access to the enemy's staging ground.

Operation dates

Round I: from July 10th (10 AM server time) to July 17th (10 AM server time)

Round II: from August 7th (10 AM server time) to August 14th (10 AM server time)

Military Liaisons (Where to Go?)

The exact location of the enemy's staging ground is not widely known. Ask local liaisons in the areas dedicated to your level range for detailed information and transportation:

Levels 3-19: Sarmatine Alexander in Trentis

Levels 20-39: Witch Hoberl in the Swamp

Levels 40-65: Border Guard in Southern Alaril

Levels 66-89: Orc Izdirul Althi

Levels 90-109: Mage Malus on the Plateau

Levels 110-139: Sergeant Berer stationed in the Garrison

Level 140: Herbalist Renia in Beirn (she can transport you to fight two separate forces of different level of armaments)

Approved Course of Action

1. Head to the smuggling site mentioned by the liaison.

2. Find hidden totems.

3. Liquidate Andayan forces on the way to the totems (warning: they may already have parts of the shipment on them!).

4. Destroy the totems and take the loot.

5. Optional: Find the Andayan golems (they might prove a bigger threat!) and retrieve the shipment from them.

6. Optional: Neutralize the remaining Andayan forces.

Important Tactical Details

Transport restrictions: Andayan magic blocks mass deployment - it will not let us transport more than one warrior to the smuggling site. However, if problems arise, adventurers can also be taken to fight a weaker enemy force.

Teleportation block: Remember that the magic released when the totem is destroyed may block the teleportation spells of our mages. Plan your escape route carefully!

Part II

Report on the Night of Monster Slayers

The next challenge will be stopping waves of monsters that spawn in their permanent locations and gather into non-standard groups of varied difficulty levels.

Intelligence Background (overheard in the Rockburst)

"See one by walls who bring portal and stand there like statue? (...) I hear they be ashamed so they... how you say it... I know! Rebrand themselves. Now instead of smacking others, they tell others who to smack. Haha, they come back to ring later. I know their type."

Our secret service informs us that former warriors of the ring have changed their profession and, as "Slayers", are organizing a great hunt.

Tasks and Rewards

The monsters have specialized in hiding their treasures. Fighting them on your own will yield only an insignificant amount of experience that is not worth the effort. The Slayers (who have paid the appropriate taxes and received official permits) offered to share the knowledge of how to extract loot from the corpses but only with those who undertake their tasks.

During a task: Each fight has a chance to yield shards, tracks, and synergetics.

After completing the task: You will receive the main reward in the form of experience, psychoexperience, and gold.

Hunt Dates

Thanks to a magical portal that accelerates the flow of time, the night hunt on the event map will be open all day long:

Round I: from July 24th (10 AM server time) to July 31st (10 AM server time)

Round II: from August 21st (10 AM server time) to August 28th (10 AM server time)

Where to Find the Slayers? (Step by Step)

First of all, every Taernian must talk to the first Slayer in the game world located according to the level range:

Levels 3-19 and 20-39: Trentis

Levels 40-65: Alaril

Levels 66-89: Khold Forest

Levels 90-109: Khold Mountains

Levels 110-139: Garrison

Level 140: Beirn

After stepping through a nearby portal and getting to the night side, you must locate a second Slayer who will give you a task.

Rules and Warnings from the Slayers

Limit: Each adventurer can complete up to 15 tasks.

Difficulty levels: You can choose between two difficulty levels depending on your Might (the level 140 range has three levels). If you prefer easier fights, you can complete easy tasks from a lower level bracket.

Easy tasks: require you to defeat 10 enemy parties.

Hard tasks: require you to defeat 5 enemy parties.

Consider your options: Before accepting a task, we recommend that you face the enemies on the map to assess their difficulty. Once a task is taken, you cannot change it until it is completed or abandoned. Remember - not completed/abandoned tasks still count towards the 15 attempts limit!

No time restriction: The time to deliver proof of successful hunts is not strictly limited. Taking and completing tasks is possible as long as the Slayers remain in our lands.

Party recommendation: Monsters in their dedicated level ranges may be too strong for a single warrior - we recommend gathering a party before venturing forth. Remember that the most handsome rewards from the Slayers will go to those who take up the most difficult challenges!
