Hello brave Taernians!
The time has come for you to close your ranks and arrive at the long-awaited event that is TaernCon! You’ll have a chance to meet your comrades from your shared adventures in Taern in the flesh and also get to know Whitemoon Games developers. We’ll have the usual activities but also some new ones. In addition to that, this year we’re going to visit a new venue.
Time and place!
As is tradition, TaernCon 2024 will happen in Wrocław on the first Saturday of July (July 6th)! We’ll see each other in the venue Czasoprzestrzeń located at Tramwajowa Street 1-3.
Like every year, you’ll be able to win precious rewards and souvenirs in the cosplay contest, trivia, and PvP tournament. Learning from the lessons of the past, we will make sure there are more food trucks and bars.
I don’t speak Polish, should I come?
Although most of the people attending will be Polish, many of us speak English, so we would very much welcome our fans from any country. We will do everything in our power to make the event very enjoyable for you and let you participate in as many activities as possible. Depending on the interest, we may run some parts of the convention in English.
What will TaernCon 2024 bring?
A lot of all kinds of goodies. We don’t want to spoil everything right now, but here’s a sneak peak of what we’re planning for this year’s convention.
Your favorite item on the agenda: the cosplay contest
To be frank, it’s also our favorite item, one the convention couldn’t do without. The cosplay contest has been with us since the very first TaernCon, so there’s no doubt in our minds about its inclusion this year. It’s a contest for everyone who wants to dress themselves as anything from Broken Ranks. We can’t wait to see your rendition of a mob, NPC, class or anything else that has inspired you in the game.
Last year’s contest was rich in exceptional creations that amazed everyone! We hope that the level of competition will continue getting higher and higher. Let a smidgeon of Taernian rivalry give wings to your creative minds. We can’t wait to see what you come up with this year!
Taern Trivia
Same as the cosplay contest, the Taern trivia is a permanent item on the TaernCon agenda.
While traveling the lands of Taern, pay close attention to the names of quest NPC or skins so that you can display your knowledge of the game during the trivia and loot an awesome reward as well as praise from the audience.
We hope that all of you will readily take part in the Taern trivia!
PvP tournament
Last year, this new activity piqued the interest of many a player. TaernCon participants were throwing down their gauntlets and proving their mettle. The fights were fierce but the playfield even!
The top3 contenders were rewarded with applause and prizes.
This year, we would also like to invite all willing Taernians to take part in the PvP tournament. To arms!
What else can you expect at the convention?
Of course, there’ll be much more to do at the convention but at the moment we don’t want to give you all our secrets and spoil the surprise :)
However, remember that TaernCon isn’t just its official part. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to have fun afterwards. There’ll be food to fill your stomachs (more of it than last year) and drinks to quench your thirst. There’ll be plenty of places to sit both inside and under the starry sky (cross your fingers for the weather).
