Broken Ranks - MMORPG on Android (Polish Early Access) - pre-registration, new server, FAQ

Only one week left until the mobile version of Broken Ranks. As you know, on March 3, 2026, your favorite MMORPG will launch its Polish Early Access and become available on Google Play. Before that happens, we want to clear up any doubts and share everything worth knowing before the launch.

In our latest Dev Blog, you could find out what exactly you'll get at launch, how the whole process works, and what we're using Early Access for. If you haven't read it yet, it's worth catching up.

And now, time for some additional information.

Pre-registration - because in an MMORPG, every second counts

You've waited a long time for our MMORPG to arrive on mobile - so there's no point wasting any more time. We want you ready for the action from the very first moment.

That's exactly why pre-registration is now live - you can sign up for Broken Ranks on Google Play before the official launch. Just hit the button in the store and on launch day you'll get a notification that the game is ready to play.

On top of that, you can also enable automatic installation - that way the files will download in advance and when zero hour hits, you won't have to wait. Of course, you won't be able to play Broken Ranks on your phone until March 3rd, but you'll be ready to jump in almost the moment the servers open.

A new server opens its gates

Whether you're returning after a break or just starting your Broken Ranks adventure - a new MMO server is the perfect opportunity to jump in and begin fresh alongside everyone else. It's also a great chance to fight for the top spots in the rankings from the very first minutes.

Exactly 2 days after the Early Access launch, we will be opening a brand new server. Kaalor - as it will be called - launches on March 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM CET.

At this point we don't yet know how much traffic to expect at launch, so we're not ruling out opening two servers right away to make sure everyone fits comfortably. On top of that, tomorrow we'll be launching an in-game poll asking whether you plan to play on the new server. That, combined with pre-registration data and the number of players on day one, will help us decide: one big server or two.

If we go with two servers, we'd like to merge them within 1-2 weeks of launch (as long as the servers aren't full on their own), once players have spread out across the different regions and instances. We'll let you know the final number of servers 24 hours before launch - so you have time to make plans with your crew.

FAQ Broken Ranks - turn-based MMORPG on Android

On which platforms is the mobile version of Broken Ranks available?

We're launching on Android first. The mobile version is currently in Early Access, available in the Polish Google Play store.

Will Broken Ranks come to iOS?

Yes - iOS is in the plans and is one of our most important goals. First, however, we want to run the Early Access on Android, catch and fix the most important issues, and stabilize the game further. Only then will we move on to iOS.

When will the MMORPG come to iOS?

We can't give an exact date at this point. A lot depends on how the Early Access on Android goes.

Is mobile Broken Ranks the full version of the game?

Yes - the mobile version will ultimately have the exact same content and mechanics as the PC version. It's not a simplified port, but a full version of the game adapted for touchscreens.

That said, keep in mind that the mobile version of Broken Ranks is currently in Early Access - despite being in a very advanced state, some features may still be missing and others may be in a prototype state.

What will be missing at launch (as of March 3, 2026):

  • achievements window
  • drop history/statistics UI
  • improved marketplace logs and history tab
  • final UI polish
  • Legends (weapons) crafting UI
  • arena and tournaments
  • faction shop
  • Trials of the Lodge are currently being implemented (may not be available at launch on March 3rd)

Things that will be in prototype state (as of March 3, 2026):

  • Guild UI and guild plot view
  • Messages (inbox) window
  • dynamic events view
  • Friends window
  • chat
  • news module on the Character selection screen

Can I play Broken Ranks on the same account as on PC?

Yes. Just download and install the game from Google Play, then log in with your existing account.

And the other way around: new players who register through the mobile version will be able to use their account to log into the PC version via our game client. Just use the "Forgot my password" option the first time you launch the client - generate a password and you're good to go.

Progress, items, and history are shared across PC and Android.

Do mobile and PC players play together?

Yes. All players are on the same servers - as long as they choose the same world. There are currently no separate servers for mobile players.

Has the controls in Broken Ranks been adapted for phones?

Yes. The interface and controls are designed with touchscreens in mind. As mentioned above, some UI elements may still be missing or in prototype form during Early Access. Map movement works in two modes, which can be switched in settings - tap mode (similar to the PC version) and joystick mode (familiar from most mobile games).

Does the game run smoothly on Android?

Yes, Broken Ranks is well optimized for mobile devices. However, keep in mind that during the first few days after the server launch, an unusually high number of players may appear on the maps at the same time, which may cause temporary drops in performance.

This is normal at the launch of any new server - the more objects on the map, the harder your phone has to work. Over time, players will spread out across the game world and everything should return to normal.

What are the hardware requirements for Broken Ranks on mobile?

Minimum:

  • RAM: 3.5 GB
  • Android 11

Recommended:

  • RAM: 6 GB
  • Android 14+

The game should run fine on all phones released after 2022. It also works on older devices (depending on their specs) - during testing it ran quite well (20-30 fps) even on older models such as the Motorola G31.

How much storage space does the game take up?

The installer is only part of the data. On first launch, the game will download additional files. We recommend having around 4 GB of free space available.

Can I download Broken Ranks on my phone before launch?

Yes. Pre-registration on Google Play is already available and lets you set up automatic downloading before launch. The day before the premiere, the game will be ready to run - we recommend launching it and logging in on March 2nd to download all necessary updates. You'll be able to play from 12:00 PM on March 3, 2026, when we open the servers for the Android version.

Can I play using mobile data?

Yes. However, for stable gameplay we recommend Wi-Fi or LTE/5G. A weak connection may cause delays.

Is Broken Ranks on Android only in Polish?

Yes. The mobile version of Broken Ranks on Android is entirely in Polish. The Early Access on Google Play is launching exclusively for the Polish market, so for now the game is only available in Polish.

Is Broken Ranks on Android free to play?

Yes, Broken Ranks on Android is free to download and free to play.

Do purchases work the same as on PC?

Yes. All purchases are tied to your game account and available on both platforms.

Are there any ads in Broken Ranks on Android?

No. There are no ads of any kind in Broken Ranks - no banners, no video interruptions, no pop-ups. Download the game, log in, and play without any interruptions.

Does the mobile version of Broken Ranks change the rules on multi-accounting and multiboxing?

No. Broken Ranks has one unified ruleset that applies to all platforms (PC and mobile), and the launch of the mobile version changes nothing in this regard.

According to the rules:

  • you can only be logged in with one character in Broken Ranks (3D servers) at a time,
  • the exception is when - within a single account - one character is logged into Broken Ranks (3D) and one character is logged into The Pride of Taern (2D) simultaneously,
  • playing multiple characters at the same time in Broken Ranks (so-called multiboxing) is forbidden - regardless of the number of devices or platforms.

The mobile version is subject to exactly the same rules as the PC version.

What should I do if the game doesn't work properly on my device?

Make sure your device meets the hardware requirements, update the app, and close other apps running in the background. If the problem persists, contact support with your device model and Android version.

Thanks for being with us - see you on the trail (wherever it may lead)! :)
