Greetings, Taernians!

There were omens and signs. Notes long forgotten, voices coming from places where no one should be. Some of you asked questions. Others preferred not to. You were right - something is coming.

As we previously announced, we’re preparing a huge batch of changes to the Trials of the Lodge! Below you’ll see some of the improvements we’re planning to implement in the upcoming update. Remember that a detailed list of changes will be published in the changelog!

Have you been waiting for this? Let’s get on with it then! On December 16th, Trials of the Lodge will be implemented into the game. It’s a completely new mode that will surely shake up your weekly routine. :) We can finally reveal it to you and we believe that it’ll be a great mixture of challenge, emotions, and fun.

The second Community Update of this year is coming, but this time we'll also add plenty of balance changes to the mix. Don’t worry - as always, we’ve also made some improvements based on your suggestions from Discord. But let's get down to business!

With more than half of the year behind us, some of the announced features have already been successfully delivered, while others are still in the works. It’s time for an update to our plans. TaernCon attendees have already received a teaser that we’re planning a slight reshuffle and a few changes we hope will help deliver what you need most - faster. So, let’s get to it!

For some time, one could notice a glimmer of hope peeking through the shadow cast by those cursed Utorians still occupying Thalia. There’s no news from the western border, Thalia keeps bleeding, and unsettling reports have been reaching the Taernian high command... What the hell is going on up there?!

On 24th June another “Community Update” will become available on the servers. Once again we are focusing on the suggestions you are so eagerly sharing on our Discord channel. What awaits you are a number of major and minor improvements to the current game mechanics, some new functionalities and improvements to those already present. All to make playing the game more comfortable and fun!

In all of Taern, there’s no Taernian who wouldn’t mutter a curse under their breath when they missed all of their attacks in a round despite favorable odds. And what if you could forge this anger into something tangible? Soon it’ll be possible, because in the next update, which will be implemented with a slight delay on 09.04, you’ll get a new feature - the ragebar!

The carnival has ended, but with Broken Ranks you can feel its spirit for longer. How? On March 6th, we’ll add a completely new skin set to the Premium Store so that you can feel like a true Taernian from the old days. When the carnival atmosphere dies down, the Wreaker of Havoc will once again appear on the servers.

Very soon, still in November, we will implement an update that will bring you many long-awaited changes and new features. This time we took a good look at the loot mechanisms to make acquiring rare items more satisfying and fair. We’re also rebalancing one of the classes – yes, this is the moment when archers get their own defensive ability and more.

And that’s not even all! New orbs and drifs are also coming, as are changes to the number of daimonites acquired from instances, and other, minor fixes. Want to learn more? Read on!

The next update is quickly approaching. And it’s not just any update! This time, the main goal is to improve the quality of playing and experiencing Broken Ranks - we focused mainly on the suggestions you so eagerly share with us on our Discord server. The next update is on the horizon. It will be implemented on June 28th at 9:30 AM CEST. Once the servers are live again, the game will automatically download the changes. If this does not happen, you can check the file integrity by clicking the button next to PLAY.

At the end of June, another big update is going to be implemented, so it’s high time we lifted the veil of secrecy. Well, at least as far the main content goes. As you know, the previous update introduced the first part of the gear overhaul and was met with a warm welcome. From what we have seen, the ability to customize your gear with drifs made you double your efforts in acquiring rare items. You created many new builds and even simulators that aid players in choosing the right gear. We are very impressed with your creativity - keep it up!

Soon, we are going to implement another update to close the fourth quarter. It’ll be the last update of this year. We are preparing to add the long-awaited Aqua Regis instance, its introductory quest, the PvP system rework, and the Holiday Event.

We announced changes to PvP some time ago, together with the update to the roadmap. We want the system to be more friendly to new players and also more engaging for our veterans. Read on to learn more!

We are preparing to implement a new sidequest, pet skins, and also many fixes and improvements, many of which were suggested by you.

The next update, as per our roadmap, will close the third quarter of the current year. We are preparing to implement, among others, the long-awaited Valdarog instance, the introductory quest, PvP Arena, and a tournament league.

Yet another update from our roadmap will be implemented soon. In the shadow of oblivion, a new evil is rising. If you want to stay alive, you need to prepare yourselves for the coming of the Puppet Master.

The next update from this year’s Broken Ranks roadmap is drawing closer. With it, we’ll introduce a long-awaited feature - the Marketplace.

Another update from our roadmap is on the horizon. We’re getting ready to implement, among others, the Castle Specter instance with its immersive atmosphere. We’re sure it’ll let you have a lot of fun in the world of Broken Ranks.
